Hi, I am Shashank Singh

Of course you got to know a little about me above but I know it’s not complete. So let me introduce myself.

My full name is Shashank Pratap Singh. I’m originally from Lucknow, India and currently reside in Rockville, Maryland, United States. My family roots are based in a traditional Indian village, and I did my schooling in Lucknow. At University of Maryland, College Park I’m a rising senior majoring in Computer Science with a minor in Technology Entrepreneurship and Corporate Innovation.

Alongside my academic commitments, I also work as an Undergrad Teaching Assistant at the Department of Computer Science and as a Community Assistant at Department of Resident Life. I’m very passionate about serving others and volunteering for various organizations.

Besides these engagements, I try to reserve sometime for myself. In this free time one can find me spending time with Nature, either sitting at Mckeldin or taking a walk in the breeze, playing Badminton at Eppley or enjoying myself with friends. Talking to people about their experiences and sharing mine is another fun activity I love to do.

As much as I value academic and professional commitments, these above-mentioned activities are equally important as they allow me to create a heathy balance ensuring both professional and personal growth.
